Asian Bridal Make Up - Arpita Karania

Arpita Karania graduated from the University of Manchester in 1999 after obtaining a degree in Physics and Astrophysics. With a natural love for people and a desire to make a difference in the world, Arpita went on to qualify as a Radiotherapy Physicist. For 7 years Arpita dedicated her life to the development of new techniques and equipment for the treatment provided to cancer patients. The Seven-Year-Itch left Arpita with a desire to follow her true passion in the world of Creativity and Art. Still with a love and compassion for others, Arpita began her career in the make up industry 4 years ago. She quickly came to realise that this profession fulfilled her and made her passion for a bigger dream a reality within months of starting her new profession. Arpita’s natural artistic flair and creative eye as well as her attitude for high professionalism have gained her to be a fast-establishing artist within the industry.

Based in Birmingham and in London, Arpita works nationwide in all areas of make up styling from bridal work to catwalk, fashion, editorial and music videos. In the past four years, Arpita has gained a huge bridal clientele. She has also worked on various music videos with Bangra Artists such as Aman Hayer, Sukhshinder, Shinda, Jaz Dhami, Sarbjit Cheema and more. She has also worked on numerous catwalks such as Ed Hardy and Asian Woman. Her work has appeared in a number of publications including Asiana, Asiana Woman, Asian Woman, Henna Magazine, and Face On Magazine (UK's no.1 Professional Make up Magaine). She has also done Make up for various celebrities such as Emil Marwa, Rishi Rich, Veronica and Brit Asian Networks Sonia Deol for the Asha Bhosle Concert.
